Sweet♥Memories

Hi guys! I went to Mariel's birthday party yesterday and it was so much fun. We also play some games there in Mariel's room while waiting for the others. Mariel's room was very messy and big, but it look small with all her things everywhere. She also got a "double decker" bed with the upper one full of soft toys.


Well, this is what happen. Mariel invited some of her friends from her class to go to her party, in cluding me but in the end only five of us stay until the end of the party. We played together until 5 plus as Maggie had to leave early so we went back to Mariel's house and into her room. We talked while waiting for the time for Maggie to leave. But in the end, she stayed until when the pizzas arrived and she drank a bit of her cup of coke. And then, two of us accompany Maggie down to the traffic light. We all have a cup of coke although i don't really like and we eat until 7 plus. After that, i helped Mariel clean the table and throw all the things away. When i went to Mariel's room to wait for her, Frances and Karen was acting to be statue. It was so funny that i burst out laughing but the others asked me to be quiet as they wanted to surprise Mariel.

Then when Mariel entered her room, she was shocked at first and then she also burst out laughing none stop and we all join in. We talked a lot - lots of things but i can't remember - and then Mariel's mum went into the room. She asked us to make somthing to bring home for souvenir instead of goodie bags. Oh ya! Before that, Karen and Tricia wanted Mariel to have a new hair style so they helped her to comb her hair to another type. They also applied lipstick and lip gloss, it was so funny but to say the truth, Mariel really look very pretty. It was just then that Mariel's mum enter the room, Mariel called for help when she saw her mum and we were laughing like mad. She told us to hurry as it was very late or we won't be able to cut the cake.

The process was very fun even though i make until my legs' numb. The time when the plastic sheet was being toasted was really scary when Mariel's mum showed us hers. They was all bent and even though two of them aren't, it was still very scary so i went into the room and came out when mine is removed from the toaster. It's only a little bent but it doesn't really matter. Frances helped me to get the keychain into the hole i punched earlier with the hole puncher then i went out to see how Gladys's piece was. It worked out just fine, in fact all of our's does.

Then we cut the cake and we sang the 'Happy Birthday' song to Mariel in english first, followed by chinese. And then, Mariel make a wish and i helped her cut the cake into half when her father take a knife and cut the cake into small pieces. We ate it and we talked while we eat like during lunch. After that, when we all had finished, i went to the room with Mariel doing the cleaning. I was shock at first when the lighy was closed but then they tell me what they were planning and although i didn't join in, i did what they tell me to do. Mariel was just like before and we talked and laughed a lot.

Then, it was time for us to go home and Mariel followed us down. Although some things happens during the day, i'm glad everything worked out right in the end.
