Hi everyone! Currently, i'm in semester 2 of year 1. Still having fun
but the projects are a killer. Sighh. Projects plus all the tutorials
are a pretty heartless killer when these two are put tgt. Life in poly
is very interesting but when it comes to projects, that interesting life
straight away become very stressful. In semester 1, my GPA is only a
mere 1 point something. All because i refuse to study that time during
the exam period since i guess i juz dun hv the motivation to study any
more after o level.
Well, for semester 2, i decided that i will
work harder and get a better score. However, looking at the modules that
i have for this semester, i gave up, literally... I juz dun hv the
ability to do well. Why? Well... First there's effective oral
communication. For someone like me, being able to speak up in class and
be able to do well for that module is close to impossible since i seldom
talk as it is. However, i will still try my best in doing well tho i
think that will be no avail.. Haha. For now, i'll end here and proceed
in doing my project. Bye!
Hi everyone! Currently having my last two weeks of vacation break. It's been so long since I last posted anything here. Sorry bout that. But anyways, I just came back from China, Chengdu and cruise prior to that. Been so busy during September what's with innovation boot camp, cruise study trip, work and holiday to chengdu with my fren.... -.-"
But anyways, juz a short (maybe) summary of all that has been happening during my vacation break. Hahaha.
First off, innovation boot camp... Tbh, in the first place, I really dun wanna go to ibc.. It's like so pointless and everything.. That and the fact that it last the whole day, which makes it even more unappealing in attending it. But anyways, it turns out to be okay in the end, though still boring. My grp also won the award of having one of the few most innovative project. Guess in the end it's okay even though the idea wasn't really from all of us but only one of the grp members. Heheh xD
Second, I guess it will be the cruise. The cruise, in itself was okay. And fun as we are all disappointed when we realized that the 3 days 2 nights trip are over. From my class, there are five of us going including me. At first there are actually 11 of us going but the procedure was too troublesome. So some of us decided not to go. While the others was because of their parents not agreeing to it because have to pay by cash first. The cruise in itself was boring actually. As in the part where it's with everyone going since the waiting time for the various activities planned by the sku and cruise members takes a very long time. During our free time, we are allowed to do anything we want except for drinking alcoholic drinks and going to the casino, which is highly not recommended. All in all, the cruise study trip end off in a very nice note and with everyone happy.
Thirdly, was my trip to Chengdu, China. The trip, which was planned during June, was actually a trip for us three best friends to actually relax after a tiring sku semester and have fun and shop around. But sadly, GY is unable to go as her mother do not allow since it's like requires her to pay for her own expenses and also the trip on her own. So sadly, only left me and HY going. Only two of us, and him being a guy, this can be clearly seen what people will be thinking... *sighhhh*
But anyways, besides all of that, it's actually my first time taking a plane. Idk y and I have totally no idea why as well, I have this irrational fear of actually boarding a plane...... Maybe it's coz it's only a few mths after the missing planes from the Malaysian airline that cause all these irrationality and fear, but all these worrying actually cause me to be very worried and unable to calm down on the plane. But sadly..... The flight was at 2:30am.. Imagine being so wind-up and unable to relax, one would actually get tired more easily but being unable to relax on the plane, I am unable to sleep at all on the plane at all for the whole 4h 30min. I'm surprised I can actually last till afternoon that day when HY went back his house to get a phone so his family can contact him that I actually fall aslp. Erhm... And also lock him out of the room at the same time hahahahah.... Oops.. xP
During our 8 day stay at Chengdu, I learn a lot of things of how the city operated and also how it differs from Singapore. It sure takes a few days to get used to but other than that, I guess I feel as if I had been there for a very long time. While there, I went to a lot of places and also explored a lot of places. It's... A very eye-opening experience since I have never been overseas. While being there, life was very different, it's very relaxing there and even has a serene feel to it, especially on the weekends. Students there, though, has a very stress lifestyle. As sku actually last the whole day for them. I really can't imagine a whole day of sku..... While for the adults, they actually have a easier, so to speak, lifestyle as compared to the students.
At Chengdu, I bought a lot of things, experience a lot of new things, eat a lot of their food, rest a lot, and discovered a lot of new things that Singapore will never have. Unless in the near future, Singapore actually come out with it, haha. I went to a lot of different places as well, such as 春熙路，锦里，熊猫基地，宽窄巷 etc. Had a lot of fun at all of these different places and also bought a lot of things for myself, friends and family.
I hope to be going there again in the near future as it really was a lot of fun and recommend it to the people I know ^^
Hi guys! Been so long since i last posted anything. Second term of poly life is starting tmr and i'm looking forward to it ! Simply because i wanted vacation break to come soon hahaha ! Anyways, during term break, guiying went back bhg to work. As for me, i decided to not go back work since well, there's only two weeks of break and one of week i'm pretty busy and all. Lucky me, i'm not really all that busy such that i'm unable to enjoy my holidays also :)
Well, besides that, i met up with guiying quite a lot as well since we two pretty much have too much free time on our hands hahahaha xD
Oh and most impacting(?) thing during the hols? Me and ks broke up. Hmm i dun really feel sad bout it but its like its been two years after all. Guess i had enough of crying last year and juz dun really care anymore since i alr know it will come to this sooner or later i guess. But oh well, no point getting sad all over the breaking up agn since nth will change because of this happening.
For now, i'll juz live my life how i usually do and juz buy a cup of milk tea and go swing for a while if i started feeling sad agn. Or maybe i can juz talk to someone? Oh well, there's a lot of choice for me. I shall juz not think about it for now and juz continue my life like normal, as normal as it can be, that is haha.
Anyways, i gtg for now. Hope to be back soon and not till vacation break for there to be a new post from me !
Hi guys!! Sorry for late posting of how my orientation is. Wasn't feeling well ytd haha xD Anyways, the orientation is a blast!! So fun especially the second day!! First day was.... Boring to be honest. Maybe coz its because my class is vry quiet? Like extremely quiet and we are alllike half dead or smth.. Our OGLs, Jem, Rachel & YangJie put in a lot of effort in making us hype up and participate but we are all like unresponsive hahaha! However, everything changes on the second day! ^^ Though still a bit unresponsive, we are more willing to participate in the games that the OCs planned for that day unlike the first day where we just stare at the OGLs haha xDD The games are all actually quite fun, especially some that requires tactics. Though we are all complaining about the heat since its held at the field and its soooooo hot on that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:
Oh oh! And after washing up and the refreshments was the finale 'Mass Dance'. The dance is very easy though easy to mix up or forget since the rhythm of the song is very fast so we sometimes will forget how the moves go haha xD But all in all, the orientation was something that i dun regret going and hope that there will be one more in the future. Maybe when we become year 2 or 3 and participate in the SBM club and become that particular batch's OGLs or GM or OC? Haha hope so!
Hey guys! Today is FMO day 1!! I can't say I'm excited but I'm not totally not excited and looking forward to it as well hehe xD Or maybe I guess my mind Is looking forward but my heart isn't? Reason why? Very simple, I can't fall aslp at all ytd.. I slept for I think less than 4 hours with me keep waking up and only finally falling asleep at after 1 and waking up at 5 coz my mum woke up.. Sigh.. Me and my brain contradicting each other -.-
Shall post about what happened either today or tmr. Depending on whether I'm tired or not or maybe even on wed since FMO is two days for SBM after all haha xDD
Hey guys!! Been a while since i last bloggged huh? Haha. Anyways, just wanted to say that its been one week since i last worked at BHG and that my contract ended. Shld hv continue working there to accompany WangTing sia.. She's lyk so bored there and all... Lols. There like a lot more fun tho is lyk empty there since L1 under renovation then there's like nobody going thr coz of various reasons.. Its so boring at hm... And i also shouldnt hv agreed to working with Mariel. Her manager sucks..! I worked second day only den i alr 'fired' her liao sia.. Attitude so bad.. Stupid one lurh. Nxt time if i go outside work den my boss like that i cfm either is alr exploded or juz bu gan le. Boss with attitude problems and with their brain having something wrong should not even be my boss. I'd rather juz go back BHG work the rest of my life. Oh anyways, epic moment during the last day of work. GY & I went ard taking photos with everyone which is like very funny since we took them on the sales floor which is actually not allowed. And the fact that Gee Wei didnt say anything makes it even more funny xDD The only male manager there, decided to close one eye juz because its our last day hahahah :D And some more we went ard taking pictures during working time some more, not when we're off duty heheh ^>^ And once we're off work, we OT one hour juz to continue taking photos hahaha. I think the management will be like 'why these two part-timers last day of work still OT ah?' haha xD Oh and not considering the fact that we'll still be going back BHG for various reasons, i think the ppl there will really know the meaning of ''having too much time to spare'' when we have no school and work hahahhha ~~ As for now i shall look forward to the coming week where i'll get my pay and the planned shopping trip to BHG with GY!!~ Oh and lets not forget kajiao-ing ppl which will be so much fun haha. Hi guys! Been a while since i last posted anything. Well there's pretty much nth new going on in my life except for the fact that i'm going to nyp hospitality and tourism~~!! And that the Taiwanese cashiers at my workplace are all going back to their homeland for further studies and all.. I'm gonna miss them.. They are all so nice and all >< Especially Candice and Annabel x.x So sad to hear that they are leaving in a few days.. Sigh.. Well most importantly, ytd was my bday celeb~~ Went to the zoo and river safari for the day and we all had a lot of fun there - me, Mariel, WT & GY - haha. I hope we will hv another chance to go out tgt agn soon~ Haha xD
