Hi! Do you enjoy the trip to the Singapore Heritage Museum? I do and i have learnt a lot about the history of Singapore long long time ago.
Firstly, we boarded a school bus and arrived there in about half an hour. To pass the time, i sent some songs to mine using my friend's handphone. When we finally arrived at our destination, my classmates and i were each given one Companion. This Companion was to be our "tour guide" and to guide us through the museum without getting lost. The guides there told us how to operate the Companion and how each buttons on the Companion works. Then, my classmates and i began to go our separate ways with at least two person together in the history gallery. I walked with some of my classmates at first but we gradually go different ways and i stuck with one of my best friends in the end.
Then as we walked deeper and deeper into the museum, i began to feel less and less afraid of getting lost throughout the whole journey. But i still stuck with my friend, just in case i really get lost. The museum was very dark and i had to be careful not to trip over something. I listen through the Companion on what happened last time and i found out about some information about the exhibits there and it's very interesting.
After that, i returned my Companion at the exit after i'd finished viewing all the exhibits. There were already some pupils there, especially the boys and they were playing with the cards that they had brought with them. I walked around the museum and found my teacher taking some photos of the exhibits there. I also saw one big screen showing what happened during the Japanese attack and it made me dizzy.
Then, my teacher brought us to the living gallery such as food, wayang[film] and fashion. My teacher separate the class into two groups and my group went the fashion gallery first. The gallery was filled with costumes and cloths. The costumes there were very nice and what i like most was the only corner that has two separate couch to listen to music. I listened to a few and the music there were nice and it's also my fave.
After that, we swapped with the other group and we went to the wayang gallery next. I watched a Malay horror movie there shown by a much bigger screen i had seen at the history gallery. The show was interesting although it was very scary for some part of the screen. Some of the boys from my group began dancing along with the music and it was very very funny. It was so funny that my friends and i cannot stop laughing until they had finally stopped.
Last but not least, we gathered and went to the last gallery-the food gallery. The food gallery was full of kueh moulds, utensils and something else. There was one part that i liked and it was also very very funny. It was much more funny than the dancing part, though as the boys smell something there that was unbearable.
After the trip, we did a survey but not all of us have it and lucky i wasn't one of them. The survey wasn't very easy so i ended up copying some of the questions that i didn't know how to do from my friend. Although my friend didn't know how to do, i didn't mind and both of us just do the questions that we know how to do and passed it up to my teacher.
Then, we went back to the school and i waited for my friend to take her bag from my school's art gallery and we went back home together.
So that's all what had happened during my trip to the Singapore Heritage Museum.
See you soon!
